The next ten days is going to be an exciting time for PMA. We have two new people we are bringing on board. Our summer intern will be Gabrielle, from the architectural engineering program at K-State. She is between her 4th and 5th year in school. We also have Thomas, who is our new graduate

  An afternoon at Ponacks, on Southwest Boulevard, has become an annual event at PMA!  We take a break from all our hard work, and just enjoy some Mexican food and drinks on the patio.

  Powder Creek Pull for Young Life 2016. One of the annual events PMA likes to participate in. This friendly competition was for the benefit of Kaw Valley Youth.  

Valerie Baehr has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. She continues to lead structural design for projects in the Kansas City metro area and national accounts. We’re lucky to have her on our team!

You’ve heard of “Where’s Waldo?”  PMA Engineering has a version of their own called, “Where’s Jeff Now???”  Jeff Patterson finds himself in all types of places, from inspecting tiny crawl spaces to high up on KC’s best known landmarks!  So, can you tell, “Where’s Jeff Now??”

Congratulations Erin!  PMA Engineering started off 2016 with a bang by naming Erin Rosenthal as new co-owner and Vice President!  Erin brings almost a decade of structural design experience to the firm. Erin started out with PMA as a summer intern, while attending K-State. She was hired on full time once she graduated.  Erin has progressed through the

PMA participated in it’s second annual Adopt A Family Christmas event.  We adopted a less fortunate family through the Parents As Teachers Program within the Center School District.  For many of these families, this will be their only Christmas.  Here’s to a Christmas morning filled with lots of giggles and smiles!

This year marks the 40th anniversary since PMA Engineering (formerly Page McNaghten Associates)  was established in 1975.  The goal was to provide quality engineering designs that were practical and buildable.  The same philosophy still stands today.  We are fortunate to have been chosen to work on many landmark buildings over the years. We do what we have to do! This is a picture of one of our Principals, Jeff Patterson, getting into a very tight, damp crawl space below a church in Chillicothe, Missouri.  The church was built in 1879, and he was investigating the condition of the foundation and floor joists to check for any structural concerns.
