Preservation of the Historic KC Star Building
PMA is honored to be part of preserving the historic Kansas City Star Building. Façade and roofing repair on this 110 year old building should wrap up early this summer, and preservation and renovation of the interior will begin later in the year. #GrandPlace
Construction Continues at Overland Park Fleet Maintenance
Interior CMU partition installation, mezzanine framing and other construction activities not pictured continue at the new Overland Park Central Fleet Maintenance facility located at Antioch Rd. & US-69 Hwy. The project will feature a storage mezzanine, 10-ton bridge crane, vehicle wash bay, and house other essential vehicle service equipment for the City of Overland Park.
Progress Continues at Buddy’s
Contractors have been hard at work wrapping up the building exterior, and constructing interior framing and finishes, at the Buddy’s C-Store at Shops of Sunnybrook in Olathe, KS, located at the intersection of Lone Elm Rd & College Blvd. The project will bring a much needed gas station and convenience store to the surrounding neighborhoods
Combating the Winter Weather
Concrete flatwork is ongoing at the new Overland Park Central Fleet Maintenance facility located at Antioch Rd. & US-69 Highway. Cold-weather installation measures, like use of curing blankets, are being taken by the Contractor to combat the winter weather. Follow the construction progress here
19th & Main Receives Merit Award
19 Main, the final piece of the Corrigan Station Complex received yet another honor last Friday; The Merit Award at the AIA Kansas City 2019 Design Excellence Awards.
