Where’s Jeff Now?????
Jeff and his son, Mason, are at Florida National High Adventure Sea Base, Boy Scouts of America. It’s a Scouting program in the Florida Keys offering everything from sailing to scuba diving, fishing, and even camping on an undeveloped barrier island. Learn more about High Adventure Sea Base here

Hopcat Anyone?
This month for birthdays, PMA went to Hopcat located at 401 Westport Road. PMA Engineering did the structural engineering design for this project.
April Afternoon at Ponacks
We all took a break from working, and spent the afternoon at Ponacks on Southwest Boulevard. The weather forced us inside, but we didn’t let that stop what has become a yearly tradition!

Jeff and his family attended the World War I Centennial Ceremony which marked the United States’ entry into World War I.
Supporting “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day”
Vanessa Petersen recently volunteered at the Discipline Fair portion of the Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day event at Bartle Hall sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers Kansas City Section. This was an all-day event designed to provide over 250 female high school students from around Kansas City with a better understanding of opportunities
Where’s Jeff Now???
Jeff Patterson took some time off from engineering, and took his two sons’ Boy Scout Troop 93 to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas for their February camp out. The boys had lots of fun while touring the museum, planetarium and watching movies in the digital domed theater. The boys also completed their Engineering and Astronomy
PMA mentors at the Women in STEM Pizza Party
PMA Engineering participated, again this year, in the Liberty North Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Pizza Party. These activities increase the girl’s interest about STEM-based careers, as they explore their possible future careers.
K-State Students Intern Over Winter Break
PMA is happy to have last summer’s intern, Gabrielle Liuzza, back during her winter break from K-State, even if just for a couple of weeks! We also brought on Leah Collins, also from K-State, who is just starting to get a taste for engineering. We hope she gets a good feel for how an engineering
