Exciting things to come on our first project with Studio A Architecture…

Construction is underway for the newest building at Corrigan Station in the Crossroads.  Installation of vibratory stone columns (rammed aggregate piers) by Helitech wrapped up this week.  These piers took us from a soil bearing pressure of 2000 psf to 5000 psf.

Spring can’t get here soon enough, and Corrigan Station’s Rooftop Bar makes everyone want to start making plans to enjoy our great KC weather in the spring.

Located in the Legends at Village West and the first venue of its kind in the world, T-Rex provided a memorable dining experience where the patron experienced all aspects of the prehistoric world including the sights and sounds of fire-spitting volcanoes, shooting meteors, ice caves, tropical jungles, and life-size animatronic dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus

PMA engineers and interns went out to watch the crowning amenity being lifted to the roof of the fully-leased Corrigan Station Building this week. This is a new bar enclosure for the rooftop patio at the Corrigan Building at 1828 Walnut, Kansas City, Missouri.  We can’t wait to see the finishing touches, and enjoy the

We are always excited to work on projects outside the norm.  This trellis for the Kansas City Art Institute turned out fabulous! The architecturally exposed steel looks so sleek.  This will be perfect  for hanging out when the weather is nice.

Expansion for the new HomeGoods store is well underway at the Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kansas.  The monster moment frame, and consequent base plate and anchor rods do not seem so monstrous when considering it is replacing an existing tilt-up concrete shearwall.  

The Mirabelle on the Plaza apartment project continues to move forward with exterior veneer and window installation.

PMA is excited to once again pair with Finkle + Williams, Metro Air, Phelps Engineering  and Terracon to provide a new ground up office building in Olathe, KS, for Van Trust Real Estate.  Once completed the building will house Terracon Consultants, Inc’s new headquarters.
