Jeff Patterson is with his sons, Mason and Marshall, at their Boys Scouts of America Northern Tier Ely High Adventure Trip in Northern Minnesota and Canada.
There are some great campsites and awesome views. They’ve been getting up at 3:30 am, and getting on the water before sunrise. They get their 8-10 miles done, and set up their camp before breakfast.
They keep extremely busy fishing, cooking and eating. They even made a blueberry muffin cake with the half gallon of wild blueberries they picked out in the woods.
