Vanessa Petersen recently volunteered at the Discipline Fair portion of the Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day event at Bartle Hall sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers Kansas City Section. This was an all-day event designed to provide over 250 female high school students from around Kansas City with a better understanding of opportunities available in the college majors and careers associated with various engineering disciplines. Vanessa represented PMA Engineering at the Architectural Engineering discipline table and discussed the Architectural Engineering major and building structural design with interested students.
