Drafting Technician
PMA is looking for a drafting technician with experience in structural commercial building drafting. The position requires a desire to continue to expand experience and knowledge in Revit and AutoCAD utilizing all types of structural systems and materials. This includes concrete, wood, steel, masonry, and light gage framing. The role will be under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer and a technician manager. The role includes drafting, modeling, detailing, problem-solving, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Associates degree with focus on Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong drive to expand knowledge and experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
Project Manager Position
PMA is looking for an experienced licensed (PE or SE) structural engineer to lead projects and personnel. The position requires managing projects and people from start to finish of a project from schematic design through construction administration. The role includes engineering, problem-solving, communication and coordination with all other consultants, and internal coordination of projects and people. Projects include wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light gage structures.
Qualifications:
- Licensed engineer (PE or SE)
- 5+ years of experience with structural engineering design and document production.
- Strong communications skills internally and with other design consultants.
- Great leadership skills and mentor to other employees.
Experienced Engineer Position
PMA is looking for a structural engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial building analysis and design. The position requires a desire to continue to expand experience and knowledge within design and detailing projects in wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light gage. The role will be under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer and mentor to work on projects from schematic design through construction administration. The role includes design engineering, problem-solving, detailing, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE)
- Licensed engineer (PE or SE) not required, but a goal to work toward.
- Strong drive to expand knowledge and experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) Position
PMA is looking for an entry-level structural engineer to expand their academic skills and knowledge into commercial projects. The position requires a desire to design and detail projects in wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light gage. The role will be under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer and mentor to begin to work on projects from schematic design through construction administration. The role includes design engineering, problem-solving, detailing, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
