2025 Year in Review

As 2025 comes to a close, we are proud to reflect on a year defined by growth, meaningful project milestones, and strong connections within our firm. From welcoming new team members to celebrating project achievements and internal events, this year reinforced the values that drive PMA Engineering forward.

Welcoming New Team Members

Our team continued to grow in 2025 with the addition of several new team members who bring fresh perspectives and valuable experience to PMA Engineering. We welcomed Engineer I Ruan Van Rooyen, Marketing Specialist Emma Stauffer, Engineering Technician Kaden Beck, and Senior Engineering Technician Ben Meiers. Each new hire has already made a meaningful impact, contributing to both project success and firm culture. We also had two interns join us this summer: Ben Pennington from Missouri S&T and Madelyn Becker from KU.

Project Progress and Construction Milestones

2025 was an exciting year on the construction front, with several notable projects reaching important milestones.

MU North End Zone Renovation

Members of our engineering team attended the steel topping out ceremony at the University of Missouri North End Zone in Columbia, MO.

18th & Lydia Parking Garage

The 18th and Lydia Parking Garage officially broke ground this year, and is a step forward in the exciting development taking place in the 18th & Vine district of Kansas City.

Grand Place KC

At the Grand Place KC project, the installation of the new marquee sign marked an especially exciting moment. The sign replicates the building’s original boiler chimney, honoring the historic character of the structure while signaling its transformation.

Recognition and Firm Achievements

PMA Engineering was honored to be recognized by Ingram’s Magazine with a Silver award for Best Engineering Firm in Kansas City as part of the Best of Business Kansas City awards. This recognition reflects the trust of our clients, the dedication of our staff, and the collaborative approach that defines our work.

Connecting as a Team

Throughout the year, we also spent quality time together as a team. Internal events, celebrations, and opportunities to connect helped strengthen relationships across the firm.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are grateful for the momentum built in 2025 and the people who made it possible. Thank you to our team, clients, and partners for being part of another strong year at PMA Engineering.
